Audacieux is a fictional clothing company based in Manhattan. The name originates from the French for “audacious” which is defined as the characteristic of being extremely bold, daring, fearless or original. This name epitomizes the target demographic of this brand, an independent, inventive, unrestrained woman of the 21st century. Audacieux is not without historical roots however. The name and subtle geometric patterning also reference Art Deco and the fashion and political movements of the 1920s. The 1920s was an era of forward thinking movements in art, fashion and ideology. Audacieux aspires to these same ideals.
